US Open Parking in Gaithersburg: A Short Drive from Restaurants, Live Music Festival, Movies, & More

The US Open will take place this week a short distance away in Bethesda at Congressional Country Club. Most fans attending this great tournament will be arriving and leaving each day from a shuttle bus location in Gaithersburg, MD. Fans might not realize that a short drive away from the satellite parking lots is an internationally renowned, new urbanist community called Kentlands.
We hope that more than a few of the US Open fans find their way to the Kentlands Downtown.…

On this day during which we celebrate the founders of new urbanism and Kentlands and the City of Gaithersburg leaders for being national leaders in supporting this vision, it is appropriate to look at where Kentlands Downtown has been, is today, and will be tomorrow.
