Goals of the Kentlands Downtown Partnership

The KDP was formed in August 2009 by the Kentlands Downtown business community to grow an organization to serve the following purposes:

1. Facilitate member created events including marketing assistance  to build foot traffic in ALL of Kentlands Downtown
2.  Create a business network for referrals
3.  Create opportunities for joint advertising and marketing of Kentlands Downtown
4. Build mutually-beneficial partnerships with the landlords in Kentlands Downtown, the HOAs, the City of Gaithersburg, other local Chambers of Commerce, and others that will enhance Kentlands Downtown for nearby residents, shoppers, visitors, and business owners
5.  Serve as a clearing house for businesses interested in opening here, with educational opportunities for business owners/managers, and resources for “getting started in Kentlands Downtown.”
